Documentary

Using art as the catalyst, this film explores how the human spirit prevails in the face of tragedy.

Using art to illustrate change, the film attempts to investigate the choice of persistence. This documentary brings together the stories of several artists who have overcome extreme life altering obstacles such as: paralysis, degenerative eye disease, chronic illness and brain damage. Through intimate portraits and expressionistic reenactments the film gives the audience a moving experience of art, the artist and their struggle.

Portions of the flashbacks and reenactments as well as parts of the art will be shot in 3D to selectively amplify moments of change and enlightenment. Poetic and lyrical imagery, will bring to life what is existential and philosophical.
